#Toon boom harmony student dosnt have bitmap and vector software#
This is useful for using backgrounds that were created in different software in your project.
This can be useful if, for example, you wish your line art to be done using bitmap drawing tools, and then to paint your drawings using vector drawing tools, or vice versa. Toon Boom Harmony supports the following bitmap image formats: JPEG, BMP, PNG (16 bits per channel RGB and RGBA), TGA, PSD (16 bits per channel), TIFF, SGI, TVG, OMF, PAL, SCAN. We move along now to Part 2 in this series of introductory tutorials using Toon Boom Harmony’s bitmap layers and bitmap tools. By default, each drawing layer has two art layers: Line Art and Colour Art, and each of these art layers can be a vector or a bitmap layer. Some formats can preserve the transparency or transparent layers, while others are not resolution dependent due to their vector nature. Images can come in many different file formats and are usually saved in a format that retains the original specifications set by the image creator.
